Although I first started tie dying in 2009, it wasn’t until 2016 that I realized just how much more there was to learn about this craft. This is also when I learned about ice dyeing. I spent endless hours reading, taking notes and experimenting.  I researched fabrics, dyes, batching, and proper procedures to make a finished product that was colorfast, with no bleeding.  I was so excited with all that I was learning, so I started sharing photos of my work with friends and family on social media.  After much support and encouragement, this website was born.
